Once life was so busy and moving in a rush. There was no time to look into the surrounding. Everybody was in the realm of their workload. The time seemed short even to take a break. Even then nothing was up to the mark. Eyes were on the laptop, hands were running over the keyboards and minds were wandering of nothing. Ears were plugged into the earphones while faces were expressionless. Likewise, the body was in a static position like statues.
Then suddenly rain heavily showered and dragged the attention for a few seconds. But then the string of the stranger world stretched back to the seat. Again lost in the world of unknown land where keys were speaking and shouting. The unending music downed all the other sounds. At the spot, things were upside down. There was a hit of hallucination and chaos. All were worried and unable to utter a single word. At that movement, the heart seemed to drown and no blood in the vein. The oxygen level increased by enlarging breathing rate.
The eyes on the screen roamed here and there. Hands shivered and my mind stopped. Moreover, the plugged earphones fell and faces wore strangeness and grievances. Nobody was getting that what was happening? Things stopped working and everyone was gazing at each other. However, there was no answer from anyone. Yet each was curious about the reason. Searching engines were downed and webpages were stood still. There was frustration everywhere and no means to exert it.
Then a number w belled and informed that the internet server was down and that would take some minutes. Ugh how long those so-called few minutes were and how horrifying was the intervals. Because the internet has powered us emotionally, mentally, professionally, and skillfully. It has addicted us with the highest dose and one cannot come out of it. Internet connection has plugged a new life into us. And we have submitted ourselves to it. This is the life pattern of our digital world.
