Alphabet INC launched YouTube Shorts in the USA in March 2021 to compete with TikTok. However, this service comes with better features and a user-friendly interface. This service was initially launched in India last year, before expanding to around 26 nations including the USA and UK.
YouTube shorts will be allowed in more than 100 different countries around the world where YouTube is Available. In a blog post, the video streaming giant said, “That’s why we’re excited to announce that we are building YouTube Shorts, a new short-form video experience right on YouTube for creators and artists who want to shoot short, catchy videos using nothing but their mobile phones.”
