After the TikTok ban in Pakistan, YouTube decided to launch its short video-sharing App. This app is known as YouTube Shorts. It is a spectacular service for those who love creating short videos and want to share them with their family, friends, and other loved ones. Alphabet INC launched YouTube Shorts in the USA in March 2021 to compete with TikTok. However, this service comes with better features and a user-friendly interface. It allows you to make vertical videos and edit them later on. You can use special effects and soundtrack or soundtracks. This service was initially launched in India last year, before expanding to around 26 nations including the USA and UK.

YouTube shorts will be allowed in more than 100 different countries around the world where YouTube is Available. In a blog post, the video streaming giant said, “That’s why we’re excited to announce that we are building YouTube Shorts, a new short-form video experience right on YouTube for creators and artists who want to shoot short, catchy videos using nothing but their mobile phones.”

The main benefit of Youtube Shorts over TikTok, for creators, is the capacity to tap into Youtube’s massive library of audio material to incorporate in their shorts. Moreover, the App, which is available on both IOS and Android, enables creators to join multiple video clips together into a one-speed regulator, a timer, and a countdown to make capturing the right moment easier.

Youtube Shorts were receiving over 3.5 billion views in the early beta version, so there is no surprise the short videos are now getting to more and more users. TikTok is spanning more than 1 billion monthly active users and is expected to become the first platform to reach the milestone in such a short time.

Recently, Youtube Shorts have been launched in Pakistan to facilitate the users from this region as well. On the contrary, TikTok claims that the user will be able to create videos with more length rather than 3 (three) minutes. It has made TikTok authorities more insecure. The TikTok users will be able to create more lengthy videos in the coming week.

Youtube celebrates the success of content creators in Pakistan. The service, Shorts, let the user record mobile-friendly vertical videos that can be spiced up with special effects and soundtracks from music library.
