A good step has been taken by Punjab Police for all those women who have smartphones, all for them who can use the app, and for the ones who are educated and working. But I am got getting about those women who do not have smartphones, those who cannot use the app, and also those who do not the ABCs and are out of opportunities. Then how to take benefits from this app.
Secondly, I think the app would work with an internet connection so what about the women of the rural region where there is no system of the internet? Rather, not just the rural region but most of the time in cities like Islamabad internet is not up to the mark then how to use the app.
Thirdly, I am also confused about the launching of the app just in Punjab province, what about the women of all the other provinces. Don’t they deserve security or they don’t have any security threats?
Women are never weak but the men overpower them. They do not need an app but sincerity and civility. Yeah, I do agree not all men are heinous but some of them are censurable. Those few percent have snatched the freedom of women. Believe me no women in Pakistan demand western culture or freedom. We just need freedom of movement, freedom of fear, freedom of abuse, freedom from being tortured, freedom from explanation, and freedom from being blamed.
We are happy with our country and people but those few percent need to be sorted out and are highly punishable. They are the trash of the society and trash should be disposed of on time otherwise they would further pollute the surrounding. I used to become sad about the women who belong to such men who cannot give regard to other women than their own. Eventually, such a beast does not deserve the title of human being not just men.
Being a woman I cannot expect the police to ensure my security because they cannot reach each of us. And here my question is that if the policemen can secure me then why not all common men of our society. The reality is that we do not any security if every man can control his desires and urges. Every man has women in their house then why do not understand the worth and value of every woman. Think about it!
Being a woman I am appealing to all the mothers who have sons, all the sisters who have brothers, all the married ladies, and all the girls who are daughters to educate your sons, brothers, husbands, and father to value every human being not just women. Tell them that you are also a woman and you deserve a healthy society without gender biases. Educate them that every woman is worthy and respectable. Tell them to control their urges not women getups. Please do ask them not to blame the victim. And also let them know that every man cannot effort abuse and harassment of their women. So please stop the game of overpowering and let the women be free.
