vivo launched the V80 in India last week, and today the brand has announced the device for other markets too – it mentions Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and “other regions” in its press release with “availability, pricing, and specifications” varying “according to local market conditions and consumer preferences”. Globally, the phone will be offered in Starwish Purple, Wander Green, Sunrise Anthem, and Vast Gray.
The V80 has a 6.59-inch 1260×2750 AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate and a 5,000-nit peak brightness, a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom, an 8MP ultrawide, a 50MP selfie camera, and a 7,200 mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging.

It’s powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB of storage (which is UFS 3.1 in the 128GB version and UFS 4.1 in the other two). The V80 runs Android 17 with vivo’s OriginOS 7 on top, and the company promises to deliver four major Android updates and six years of security updates for the handset.
