Chitral is the farthest part of KPK holds a unique culture with amazing people. It is the largest district of KPK covering an area of 14850 km2. It is the valley of natural beauty surrounded by high mountains, circulating spring water along with glacier flows, plains carpeted with grasses, and trees moving towards the sky. And if you ask about the dwellers of the land then there is no example of them. Enjoy the video with the beautiful lyrics sung in harmony with the traditional music that describes the overall essence of Chitral. The translation to each stanza is given below. First read the translation then watch the video. I am sure you all will love it.

I am indebted to Wasi Uddin Akash an energetic explorer and travel blogger for this wonderful video and my gratitude goes to Qasim for the amazing poetry about the land of Chitral. And thank you sir for the help out in the translation of the lyrics. You can reach out to Wasi Uddin Akash’s contents through his YouTube channel and Facebook Page.

Translation of the song a ma Jannat ma chitrar tasum khoshan asuni saf

1. O my garden of Chitral, your dwellers are elated on your lap:

The hearts are full of loyalty and beauty.

None feels lonely, and everyone cherishes high feelings of friendliness.

2. When spring approaches, life teems with joy,

Everybody yearns to visit and adore your beauty.

3. All have adorned your high mountains in their hearts

O my garden of Chitral, your dwellers are elated on your joyful lap.

4. Those who go to other lands than yours, they add your good name to theirs.

They miss you in every breath they take and remember you in every beat of heart.

5. All long to be blessed with a happy glance on you.

O my garden of Chitral, your dwellers are elated on your joyful lap.

6. All pace together at every step they take.

They send out a message of love and share their woes.

7. Everybody is brought up to serve you and guard you.

O my garden of Chitral, your dwellers are elated on your joyful lap.

8. My garden, your doves know your value,

And own their sorrows and understand their ways.

Their hearts bloom with loyalty, making them lively.

9. They tread your ways with moonlike faces,

As if roses have blossomed and come to see other flowers.

Everyone has a garden, adorned in their hearts, like thine.

10. Qasim prays for you from all beats of his heart.

In every street, the butterfly enjoys thy fragrance.

The whole world calls you a symbol of peace.

O my garden of Chitral, your dwellers are elated on your joyful lap.
