I found a perfect definition for the word responsible that is being the “primary cause of something and so able to be blamed or credited for it.” And now I want you all to put yourself in this definition. It is an address to each of you who are reading out it. Think for a while and ask yourself who are you? If you know this question then I believe you know everything. Secondly ask yourself about your position means where are you standing today? Thirdly asked the most difficult question that what and how you have done for your development?
It is true that men are selfish in nature and do whatever suits them. The first person everybody thinks of is him/herself. But what you are doing and how you are doing matters a lot. And mostly you are free to make your own plans and to take out the decision. So how you are planning and what you are deciding totally depends upon you. You know basically, you are an individual and you are different from all others. But at the same, you are a blamer. Most of the time you blame others for your own actions.
As a child, you blame your parents and your elders for your behavior. As a student, you accuse your teachers of your own misconduct and mismanagement. Whereas as a citizen you all the time blame the government for all the incidents and misfortunes.
Just tell me have you ever asked yourself about your responsibilities. Don’t you think you are the only one who can control your behavior, can conduct all the misconducts, and manage all the mismanagements? Even you can turn misfortune into fortune.
For doing all these you need to conduct a survey of yourself. You have to take responsibility for yourself. Because there is none but you yourself are responsible. Be a responsible child, a responsible member, and most importantly a responsible citizen.
