The Figure has changed but what about Us

Oh..! And yesterday we were zealous about today and busy in the decoration with green and white. We were concerned about clothes that what to wear and many went to the market to buy a new one. Many others brighten up their walls with fairy lights over a piece of our flag hanged down. Some were very enthusiastic and had hoisted flags on their top floors and others had covered their doors with green and white balloons. It sounds good to be this much celebrative but celebration fascinate with success. Our patriotism was not limited to this and it turned into violence.

Suddenly just the change in the figure louden the country with directionless firing, pop crackers, shouting, and loud music. No, this was not the end of our celebration because many of us came out with our vehicles and jumble the road. Moreover, we were in a hurry though there was no emergency. How can we effort to tolerate one another? The only emergency was to cross one another and to create hurdles for each other.

Some patriots were out to celebrate it with a cake-cutting ceremony and free night activities. Whereas some legends were unaware of it and sleeping in their world of chaos. But how can they sleep when celebrative of figures are there. We patriots were mindless about those who were in hospitals due to their poor health. We did not think about those who are sufferings from miseries. We have spent money and time in firing and cracking but do not thought-about to spend that in some benefaction. We are ignorant of the needy people of our country. We never try to uplift Pakistan in the line of progression. At the same time, we expect it to be prosperous for us and to provide us with more and more opportunities

The figure changes every year and today it turns to 74th which is composed of seven and half decades. And every year we celebrate it for a day or two and hardly for 5 days. After that, we forget our patriotism and back to our routine. We never think to bring some changes in ourselves nor do we think about Pakistan but we want it to give us much and more. Our love for it is limited to flags and clothes and that is again bound to 14th August and 23rd March. We fire and crack and that only disturbs others nothing else. We jam the traffic and horn each other.

But still, we think of ourselves as patriotic and human. I request you to take out 2 minutes to think about it.
