The Air Men

Published

on

They fly up above the mountains, roll the sky, trodden the air, bounce the fear, crush the enemy, and land with victory.  They moved in different shapes sometimes straight in line like a row, in a circle like a sphere, in a triangle like the pyramids. They assemble in all shapes and threaten the enemy. For them there is no height higher than the safety of this land, nothing clean than the cleanliness of the atmosphere of their motherland, no one is important and special than the importance and specialty of their country.

They are fearless and ambitious. They fly in the opposite direction of the air and show their powers by upside downing down their heads. Their stories of valor and courage are marked in history. It is MM Alam who destroyed 5 aircraft in less than a minute in the Indo-Pak war of 1965.  It was not just in 1965 but they are always operationally ready and prepared. It is Rashid Minhaz who crushed the plane and ended his life than to enter it into the enemy’s territory. It is the flying woman Marium Mukhtar who laid her life while in service.  And there are many MM Alam, Rashid Minhaz, and Marium Mukhtar who are ready to crash down to ashes for their country.

These courageous people belong to Pakistan Air Force and command the freely moving air to move with the. and to take them in its speed. They are the pride of this land. They are the shaheens of Iqbal about whom he says:

“Tu Shaheen Hay Parwaz Hay Kaam Tera

Teray Samnay Asman Aur Bhi Hay”
