Defense Day: A test to defending Power.

Published

on

The 18-years-old Pakistan was just on the track of stability after much struggle and suffering. It was in its teenage and growing to turn into its youth. When the envious enemy India attacked the borders of this youthful country. It was less in terms of the number of armed forces, weak in regards to war equipment, uninformed about the attack but it was full of courage, high in morale, ready for devotion, and ambitious to defend its borders.

On the 6th of September when the enemy attacked the border of Lahore and Sialkot with the plan and confidence to reach Lahore for the breakfast then the Valiant Pak Army tied up themselves on short notice of president Ayub Khan. Ayub Khan boosted the courage of the nation and soldiers with the slogan of “LĀ ʾILĀHA ʾILLĀ-LLĀH, MUḤAMMADUR-RASŪLU-LLĀH. The soldiers took their places and destroyed the highly prepared, well-equipped enemy. This attack was in response to Pakistani military advancement in Indian Occupied Kashmir. This well-fought battle lasted till the 22nd of September of 1965 and was ended with the administration of ceasefire by the United Nations and both the countries accepted.

The brave sons of this land were successful not just in defending its borders but always proved themselves to be lives savers of thousands of civilians. They even protected the properties of the civilians and their country at the cost of their blood. They have brightened up the name of the country with their martyred graves.

This prosperous Pakistan is from the blood of all those who sacrificed their prosperity over it. This is the Pakistan of all those martyrs who laid down for their country and people without any second thought. This Pakistan is because of all those who send their bodies wrapped in the flag and inside boxes. It is about Major Raja Aziz Bhati and thousands of Major Bhatis who sacrificed themselves for us. This Pakistan is also from those who survived and got the name of Ghazi but with a missing body part. Ghazis are the people who capably disable themselves for this country who told the untold story.

We celebrate this day as a national day to remember all those heroes who have defended our borders and have transferred this land to us. We celebrate this day to celebrate our defending power and to renew our pledge that we are a strong and proud nation. And to acknowledge Quaid’s quotes in that he said: “There is no power on earth that can undo Pakistan.”  This day tuned us with strength and unite us with patriotism. Every day is a worthy day to pay tribute to all those war heroes but today is the must one. Every citizen of this land remembers and revises the incident of 6th September and tries to show our power to the enemy through different programs like new weapon testing, through TV shows, and different on-ground activities.

We belong to Pakistan and Pakistan belongs to us and may we always protect it with dignity and devotion. Pakistan#Zindabad. A Shaheedan-Wattan the nation is proud of you.
