The Prime Minister’s Coordination Committee on Ease of Doing Business met at the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) to finalise the reform programme aimed at simplifying business procedures and strengthening Pakistan’s investment environment.

The meeting was attended by the Adviser to the Prime Minister, SIFC leadership and the Regulatory Reform Technical Team, said a news release.

Discussions focused on provincial onboarding, coordinated implementation of reforms and the adoption of the Asaan Karobar Bill across provinces and regions.

The proposed reforms aim to simplify business registration, licensing and regulatory compliance through streamlined procedures and improved coordination among government institutions.

SIFC is facilitating engagement between federal and provincial stakeholders to promote a more consistent, transparent and business-friendly regulatory framework nationwide.

The initiative reflects the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to reducing regulatory complexities, facilitating investors and strengthening the business environment to support entrepreneurship, investment and sustainable economic growth.
