Where is our Pakistan? Let answer this question. Most of you might tell about the location of the land. And yes that is not incorrect. The zigzag piece of land is situated in the continent of South Asia surrounded by the Arabian Sea in the south, India in the east, China in the north, and Afghanistan in the northwest. This is a good answer technically but what further about our Pakistan. You might become surprised by this. However, there is nothing to be surprised about because we have divided ourselves into provinces, districts, and regions. Aren’t we? Do not we deal with people accordingly? Are Pathans ready to accept Punjabis or likewise? Do not we call each other Balochi and Sindhis than Pakistanis?
While answering all these questions you might disagree with me yet there would be an empty vacuum inside you. Because we have created disparities among us and that is why we cannot locate our Pakistan. We indeed have differences in terms of our culture and custom, our areas are different our mindset varies from one another.
Besides the disparities, we are chronic to blame Pakistan which is not in our mind when we are having peace and goodness in life. But we never forget to credit Pakistan while doing something ill. We used to defend our not being punctual with the phrase “Pakistan hay”. We answered our illegal approaches with the combination of some Urdu words like “Pakistan hay sab Chalta hay”. Have not you use these phrases many times? There might be some legends who have not used them. I am addressing the majority who hold these phrases closer to their mind than the phrase “our Pakistan”.
Let’s clear our minds on the diamond jubilee celebration of our independence. Let’s turn down our mindset about Pakistan and bring out “Our Pakistan”. You know what it is you, it is I and it is he/she who is not punctual but we never consider it as our mistake and easily justify with the phrase “Pakistan hay”. The same is our illegality belongs to us not Pakistan but who will accept this. I am not ready, you are not ready, he/she is not then how it would be possible to be punctual and lawful.
How we can find “Our Pakistan” if we prefer the difference over our commonalities? How we can make prosper “Our Pakistan” if we continue to use such phrases? Why cannot we be and say “Pakistan hay be on time”? Why not say “Pakistan hay illegal Kuch Bhi Nai Chala ga”? Believe me, if we just change these two phrases and contribute our part then we would be able to call it “Our Pakistan”. And we have to do it because it is “Our Pakistan”. It is not a provincial country but one Country. There is one Pakistan and that is “Our Pakistan”. Pakistan#Zindabad.
