Canada: Referendum for Khalistan being held today

In Canada, a referendum for Khalistan is being held today under the auspices of Sikhs for Justice in Edmonton, Alberta.

The Sikhs for Justice led by prominent Sikh leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun organised similar referendum-style events previously.

Meanwhile, US Federal Bureau of Investigation has warned Gurpatwant Singh Pannun of an imminent threat to his life.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun said FBI agents visited his New York City residence to alert him to the threat ahead of his planned visit to Canada for the Khalistan referendum.
