Punjab stands out to be the Polio-free province in Pakistan
Punjab has become the first polio-free province in Pakistan. All environmental tests have been taken from sewerage water in several towns, including the provincial capital Lahore, and have been reported as negative.
Furthermore, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar stated that the provincial government has made a milestone with the grace of Almighty and the collaboration of the medical teams in the eradication of Polio. The Chief Minister acknowledged the provincial health department and anti-polio teams for their efforts.
Usman Buzdar also said that the anti-polio vaccination effort will be continued in order to immunize youngsters and prevent the disease from spreading to future generations.
It should be a goal for all the provinces of Pakistan so that we can make progress in this world.
