Pakistan Textile industry has been at its height in the past. And it has great potentials to produce exporting quality fabric and textile items. But it has declined to a lower point in the recent past. However, recently it is in the improving rate. This industry is on the path to exceeding the USD 20 billion target.
This is something good for the progression of Pakistan. It would sustain economic expansion and would continue to grow at a high rate. In a press statement issued recently, the Chairman of Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA) expressed satisfaction with the country’s rising export trend.
He stated that the country has seen a rapid recovery of exports since the removal of COVID-related restrictions, with outbound shipments rising faster than those of regional competitors Bangladesh and India in recent months.
