Pakistan has a treasury of tourist points that needs to be explored and accessible. Development of proper road extension, hoteling facility, and security are the keys towards tourism. It would not just benefit the tourists but also the locals. Because most of the nature spots are part of rural areas. It is never late to take initiative and to economize tourism.
As the government plans to make Kahuta and Kotli Sattian more appealing tourist destinations. According to Sadaqat Ali Abbasi, Member National Assembly (MNA), the government is considering making Kotli Sattian and kahuta into new tourist destinations, which would also help reduce congestion in Murree.
He shared that a plan is being developed to build a tourism highway from Lower Topa Murree to Chowk Pindori via Bostanabad to provide tourists with easy access to Kotli Sattian. And also stated that they have directed the relevant authorities to prepare a comprehensive proposal for the project within the next few weeks.
Moreover, according to the MNA, work on upgrading national highways and link roads are also underway. He also said that the Punjab government’s first objective is to complete development projects on time so that people’s living standards can be improved. The most crucial factor in promoting tourism is to make these locations accessible.
Kotli Sattian will be developed as an alternative to Murree, according to a representative for the commissioner’s office, and the province administration is working on a plan to improve the area and identify tourism areas.
It is time to make Pakistan accessible.
