Honey bees are one of the natural assets in Pakistan which benefits millions of people across the country and enhances the economy as well. China-Pakistan Agricultural and Industrial Information Cooperation Platform (CPAIC) reported that Pakistani honey production has the capacity to increase its production ten times.
Bees can add more sweetness to the lives of Pakistani people like their own production of purity. Because this country is full of nature’s colors and fragrances which in return warm the bees to produce honey. And there is a diverse range of bee species as well. Moreover, the honey produced by the bees in Pakistan is considered to be the purest one all around the world.
According to FAO statistics, over 390,000 people in Pakistan keep bees and produce around 4,000 tons of honey per year. However new technologies and training can improve this production rate up to 70,000 tons per year and can create more job opportunities for the people.
Therefore, there is a dire need for understanding and realization regarding the business of honey. So give awareness and facilities to enhance the production and boost the economy.
