Pakistan provides 100 scholarships to Afghan students and Rs 100 million in humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, according to the SAARC Chief.

Iftikhar Ali Malik, President of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said on Sunday that Pakistan has granted 100 scholarships to Afghan students and has sent Rs 100 million in humanitarian supplies to Afghanistan.

He told a group of donors and benefactors led by Mian Muhammad Saeed Deraywalay, President Anjuman-I-Arain Pakistan, that the brave people of Afghanistan were now facing enormous hardships due to a lack of health care and food.

He stated that it is the moral duty of the entire world, particularly the West and the United States, to play a significant role in the reconstruction of Afghanistan, the world’s poorest country, including the rehabilitation of its people, on a war footing.

He stated that a lasting peace in Afghanistan will benefit not only Pakistan and the region, but the entire globe.

He stated that restoring peace in Afghanistan will need boosting the economy and giving basic facilities to the Afghan people.

Iftikhar Ali Malik stated, “We are delighted that Pakistan is at the top of the global list of big contributors.”

Pak Afghan Brotherhood, Sarwar Foundation, University of Lahore, Qarshi Foundation, Ghani group, important group, guard group of industries, and Anjuman-I-Arain, he claimed, are all assisting Afghans.

According to him, VC UHS Prof Dr Javed Akram, who is well-known for his extraordinary humanitarian efforts, has begun teaching Afghan physicians in telemedicine and other medical disciplines.
He stated that more contributors will join Governor Punjab in donating humanitarian items.A high-level SAARC Chamber delegation will also pay a visit to the SAARC Chamber’s Afghanistan section and the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry to show sympathy with them and offer unwavering cooperation in order to boost bilateral trade between the two Muslim neighbours.

‘Pakistan-Malaysia engagements to yield positive results’

Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim says the engagements with his counterpart Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari, alongside discussions with industry representatives, resulted in productive outcomes encompassing a wide array of mutual interests.

In a post on X, he said these interactions underscored the commitment of the highest leadership to enhance relations.

Anwar Ibrahim said there will be increased cooperation in all areas including trade and agricultural technology following his visit.

He said the two countries will also expand cooperation in the skilled worker sector of artificial intelligence and semiconductors.

Pakistan slams Israel’s  growing adventurism in Middle East

ISLAMABAD, Sep 29 (APP): Pakistan on Sunday strongly condemned the growing Israeli adventurism in the Middle East and said that its unbridled attacks on civilian populations and disregard of international law have reached alarming levels.

“For the last several days, Israeli forces have engaged in unacceptable violation of the sovereignty of Lebanon, relentlessly targeting civilian population centers, and undermining its stability and security. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims of Israeli aggression and the people of Lebanon,” Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press statement.

Yesterday’s reckless act of killing the Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon constitutes a major escalation in an already volatile region.

“Pakistan continues to stand in solidarity with the people of Lebanon. We urge the United Nations Security Council to restrain Israel from its adventurism in the region and violations of international law; and restore peace in the Middle East,” it was further added.

Security forces, LEAs kill 21 terrorists in Balochistan: ISPR

Security forces and Law Enforcement Agencies have killed twenty-one terrorists in Balochistan.

According to ISPR, on behest of inimical and hostile forces terrorists attempted to conduct numerous heinous activities in Balochistan.

These cowardly acts of terrorism were aimed at disrupting the peaceful environment and development of Balochistan by targeting mainly the innocent civilians, especially in Musa Khel, Kalat and Lasbela Districts.

Resultantly, numerous innocent civilians embraced shahadat.

In Musa Khel District, terrorists stopped a bus in general area Rara Sham and maliciously targeted innocent citizens, working in Balochistan to earn their livelihood.

Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies immediately responded and successfully thwarted the evil design of terrorists ensuring security and protection of local populace.

However, during the conduct of operations, fourteen brave sons of soil including ten Security Forces soldiers and four personnel of law enforcement agencies, having fought gallantly, made the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat.

Sanitization operations are being conducted and the instigators, perpetrators, facilitators and abettors of these heinous and cowardly acts, targeting innocent civilians, will be brought to justice.

Security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts at sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
