Afghanistan needs peace, not Interference

The US had stayed in Afghanistan for two decades to fight with the Taliban. The US troops were around three lac whereas the Taliban are counted to be not more than seventy-five thousand. Yet the US lost the unfought war and withdrew from Afghanistan on the 31st of August 2021. Why they have stayed for two decades and what they have done are the unanswered questions. And there might not be any answer to them.

Now the matter is the settlement of the Taliban government. All the international organizations are active in the surveillance of the Taliban. All European Union and G7 countries are eager to question the credibility of the Taliban and they have set their mind that the Taliban can never govern Afghanistan. But it is a bit surprising that they do not ask any question about the failure of the US troop. Though the US troop were fully equipped and trained yet they failed to encounter the Taliban.

In the realm of all this political manipulation, all forget about the actual victim. All have forgotten about the common man of Afghanistan who is in a state of chaos and unable to decide what to do and what not to do means the situations are in the state of “To be or not to be.”

The Taliban claimed that they have changed their nature and will not repeat what they have done before. But the outer world is not ready to trust them and creating hurdles for the common man of Afghanistan. It is easy and might be thrilling to play games on tables but it is really difficult to be in uncertainty. The Taliban blames the US and the international organizations blame the Taliban for the unpredictable situation of Afghanistan. And the sufferers are the public of Afghanistan.

The US had already withdrawn, the Afghan army and leadership had surrendered and the Taliban had taken over then why not accept the reality and move on with it. The outer world needs to give its contribution to the peace of Afghanistan not to hamper the ways of processing. Let the Taliban settle their setup of government, give them the chance to prove their transformed form. The interference in the matter can bring out nothing more than worse consequences. And also the Taliban need to stand by their words and need to be generous enough to accept criticism. Because criticism always polishes potentials.  They have to fully implement their new agendas and need to welcome support from the outer world. Seclusion has never been a policy to run a government.

So it is time to sustain peace in Afghanistan by mutual collaboration and acceptance otherwise the situation would get worsen. Have mercy upon the Afghanis.
