Unity in nation

National unity makes a country strong. When people come together, they become one (AikQaum). Without really having empathy for each other, being together, we can’t unite as a nation. Unity consists of faith, love, understanding and togetherness for each other. When you unite as a nation, no power on earth can undo your nation, no power on earth can break the nation. We are surrounded by many dangers these days. Powerful and dangerous countries lie close to our country and borders. Our relations with everyone can’t be cordial, we can’t please everybody. So we always have a threat at hand. Those who are our enemies can easily take advantage of us if we are not careful and together as a united nation. People can take advantage of our weaknesses and differences. We should try to have greater national unity in some such ways. First, we should act according to our religion. We need to become true Muslims because Islam teaches us unity. It teaches us not only religious duties but also social duties as well. Secondly, we should give proper chances to provinces to develop their own culture and language. We need to promote our culture. Accepting other’s cultures will also help. Acceptance will never come from people we don’t accept ourselves. In order to be accepted, we must first accept other people too. In the end, the message is love and acceptance. This is what we all want and need in the end. The languages and cultures are precious treasures. It is time we celebrate and love our own culture as well. A country must be united to make progress in different fields of life. National unity is related to the ideology of the country. We need national unity for many reasons We should know that our country is going through a critical phase of its history. It is always exposed to danger. At the same time, we need unity to make our country progress in social, political, and economic fields. A united nation is always strong and stable. It always has an image of great power. United we stand, united we fall. United we can grab the enemy by its neck. If we Muslims had not been united Pakistan would have been a dream. We can achieve national unity by doing different things, like by providing justice to people living in all provinces. We should deal fairly with them. The people of each province should be dealt with love and goodwill. A common language should be adopted to bring unity. This language should be Urdu. The same dress should be worn at official gatherings. It is our faithful adherence to our ideology that can unite our nation. By following Islam we can be truly united. Islam makes us united with faith and discipline. It stresses that all Muslims are brothers to each other. It doesn’t believe in caste and creed. Everyone is equal in the eyes of the law. Islam doesn’t believe in economic exploitation. This is the only way we can be united.
