Nauman Ijaz is a Pakistani TV and film actor. He is also a TV presenter. He is currently hosting a chit-chat show in Neo news HD. Ijaz grew up in Icchra town, Lahore. His father worked in a movie theatre. He studied at Cathedral High school, Lahore. He completed his education at Forman Christian college. He did law at Punjab University. He started his acting career in a small appearance in a drama serial in 1988. Nauman Ijaz started his acting career with PTV with a short appearance in the direction of Pakistani TV director Nusrat Thakur. A good actor requires charisma, understanding human behavior, confidence, intelligence, hard work, high imagination, and energy. A good actor shares certain characteristics whether they work in film, television, or theatre. A passion for performing and entertaining is a key quality and a good actor should have the confidence to portray their role in a production convincingly and connect with the audience. They need to convey the emotions, motivation, and intentions of their character through physical movements as well as speech. A good actor also accepts criticism and works towards improvement. Nauman Ijaz did a TV serial from PTV Quetta Centre. He then appeared in many different roles, including negative roles in the dramas Rihaee and Ullu Baraye Farokht Nhin. He then appeared in the film Ramchand Pakistani where he romanced Nandita Das. Nauman Ijaz hosted a TV comedy show on PTV home. He received Pride of performance from Asif Ali Zardari. He also hosted Mazaaqrat in 2014. Most recently he played a role in Dunk drama where he was falsely accused by a woman about harassment.

He is one of the most famous and veteran actors in the Pakistani film industry. It can be said that Nauman Ijaz is an important asset to our film industry. He has great experience in acting. He performed in many dramas. He has shared the screen with many great actors. The actor has won many awards for his acting in different dramas. The dramas he worked on are “Dar si jati hai Sila”, “O Rangreza”, “Sang e mar mar”, “Ahsas”, ” Rehaai”, “Jackson heights”, “Badi Appa” and many more dramas. He worked in “Raqeeb Se” too.   An actor like him is rarely born. A fine acting skill and versatility are what defines Nauman Ijaz.  Nauman Ijaz needs no introduction. His versatility is unmatched. After all these years of being associated with the industry, he never fails to surprise us. He believes there is always room for better work and performance. Death anniversary of singer Masood Rana observed

The 29th death anniversary of famous playback singer Masood Rana was observed on Friday.

He was born in Mirpur Khas, Sindh.

Masood Rana started his singing career from Radio Pakistan Hyderabad in 1955.

He began singing for films in 1962.

Masood Rana remained one of the top male singers in Urdu and Punjabi films for more than three decades.

He died in Lahore on this day in 1995.

Death anniversary of Naseem Begum being observed today

The 53rd death anniversary of renowned Pakistani singer Naseem Begum is being observed today.

Born in 1936 in Amritsar, Naseem Begum sang hundreds of Punjabi and Urdu songs for films. Her melodious voice won her a huge fan following in the country.

During the 1965 war against India, Naseem Begum, was one of those singers who lent their voices to patriotic songs. her song ”Aye Raah-e-Haq k shaheedo” boosted the morale of the armed forces and the nation.

She passed away on this date in 1971.

Death anniversary of Ashfaq Ahmad being observed today

Twentieth death anniversary of eminent writer, playwright and broadcaster Ashfaq Ahmad is being observed today.

Ashfaq Ahmad wrote dozens of TV dramas and hosted famous programmes of Radio Pakistan “Talqeen Shah” which was broadcast by Radio Pakistan for about 35 years.

His famous PTV plays were “Munchaley ka Soda” “Aik Muhobaat Sao Afsaney” “Tota Kahani” “Hairat Kada” and “Afsaney”.

On television, Ahmad penned the script of several plays that went on to become popular with audiences including, Uchhay Burj Lahore De, Tali Thallay, and Tota Kahani. He also made a feature film called Dhop aur Saya in the 60’s.

Ahmed married Banu Qudsia, who was also a well-known author and literary personality.

He received both the Presidential Pride of Performance award and Sitar-e-Imtiaz.

Ashfaq Ahmad died on this day in 2004 in Lahore.
