Enhance the progression of CPEC so that it can strengthen Pakistan and China to stabilize Afghanistan

Published

on

The game-changing CPEC is already progressing in Pakistan. Whereas pandemic has somehow hampered its ways. Pakistan’s future belongs to CPEC because it is the largest project for infrastructure development, job creation, connection to other parts of the world, and life improvement. This project is not just beneficial for Pakistan but all the neighboring countries and over to the world directly or indirectly. Pakistan holds the major strategic location and CPEC is enhancing it more through its different projects like that of One Belt One Road (OBOR).

However, recently the globe is under rotation and things are getting changed. The biggest example of it is that of the Afghan issue. And it is alarming for the whole world. The US has withdrawn from Afghanistan without any solid and valid outcomes after two decades of war on terror. And it has become of worldly concern. Many strategists and media in the West and India have linked the Afghan Taliban’s seizure of power with China-US relations, China-India relations, and India-Pakistan relations.

Whereas the world also believes that Pakistan and China can settle the situation. And they think CPEC can be the tool to settle down the Afghan issue. And China and Pakistan can indeed contribute to the stability of Afghanistan. Because both are strategically aligned to Afghanistan and have better diplomatic relations than other countries.

So far, Pakistan needs to take steps to improve its industrial sector that will defiantly boost the progression of the CPEC project and that directly leads to the progression of Pakistan. Secondly, both Pakistan and China must work together for the maintenance and promotion of regional security and stability. Thirdly and most importantly Pakistan and China have to persuade the Taliban to establish an inclusive government as they have mentioned just after the takeover of Kabul. Moreover, the recognition of the Taliban by the world would be the major cause of stability. Afghanistan is in dire need of assistance.

Although, other countries like Iran, Russia, and Turkey hope that the Taliban can establish an inclusive government because they seem to be in transformed form. That is why Pakistan and China have to coordinate with these countries to diminish the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan and to stabilize regional governance and global security.
