Adnan Siddiqui was born on 23 October 1969. He is a Pakistani actor, producer, and model. He has worked in Lollywood, Bollywood, and Hollywood.  He owns a production house. His production house is Cereal Entertainment. His performance in the Drama Serial Mere Pass Tum Ho was amazing. His father migrated from Uttar Pradesh. He is the youngest in a family of eight children. He was born in Lahore. He was educated from ST. Patrick’s high school, Karachi. He has worked in many drama serials, like Uroosa, Pal do pal, Meri adhori Mohabbat, Meri zaat zara e benishan, Doraha, Hawa rait aur aangan, Choti si kahani, Vasl and Parsa. He first started his filming in 1990. He is a mighty actor. He married Palwasha in 1999 and they have three children. He has appeared in many drama series and also commercials. He was noticed fully in the drama Uroosa and also in the most famous travel reality shows of the time Gulls and Guys. It was directed by Shoaib Mansoor. In 2002, he was nominated for best actor in Lux style awards and was its red carpet host. He worked in MIghty heart alongside Angelina jolie and Irfan Khan. It was released in 2007. He won the best supporting actor award for ishq junoon dewangi on Pakistan media award. He made his debut in the Pakistani film Yalghaar. He worked in “Ye mera dil”, “Meray paas tum ho”, “Belapur ki dayan”, “Sammi”, “Khushboo ka safar”, “Pakeeza”, “Mohabbat hogai tumsay”, “Kitn satatay ho”, “Ahista Ahista”, “Mere humdum mere dost” and many more dramas like that. He acts with women half his age. He is one of the top actors of the Pakistani showbiz industry. He is well experienced and good at what he does. His wife is also a charming actress of her own time and style. He has two daughters Mariam and daaniya and one son Zaid. He walked in various ramps and started his career as a model in 1988. He has done photoshoots of many famous brands. He is highly praised and appreciated by the viewers. After his popularity, he started playing versatile roles in different dramas. He has also worked in the famous drama series Mehendi. His second award was the HUM award for the best actor due to his performance in Sammi in 2017.  As a producer, he worked on Seeta Bagri, Pujaran, Jalti baarish, Aadat, Ghughi, Saiyan way, Main na janon, and ghamandi. He won a total of two awards and was nominated for eight awards. Acting is an activity in which actors show or tell a story using enactment and adopting a character. By acting one portrays how they would act as a character in a play or film usually as directed by the director but some allow the actor to fully express himself the way he perceives his character. The portrayal of a character in a book or film is the act of personating a role. Filmmakers recognize the role and ability of an actor as an artist. The actor is the most vital part of the visual medium of the film and theater because the actor shows the hard work of all the team.

Death anniversary of Ashfaq Ahmad being observed today

Twentieth death anniversary of eminent writer, playwright and broadcaster Ashfaq Ahmad is being observed today.

Ashfaq Ahmad wrote dozens of TV dramas and hosted famous programmes of Radio Pakistan “Talqeen Shah” which was broadcast by Radio Pakistan for about 35 years.

His famous PTV plays were “Munchaley ka Soda” “Aik Muhobaat Sao Afsaney” “Tota Kahani” “Hairat Kada” and “Afsaney”.

On television, Ahmad penned the script of several plays that went on to become popular with audiences including, Uchhay Burj Lahore De, Tali Thallay, and Tota Kahani. He also made a feature film called Dhop aur Saya in the 60’s.

Ahmed married Banu Qudsia, who was also a well-known author and literary personality.

He received both the Presidential Pride of Performance award and Sitar-e-Imtiaz.

Ashfaq Ahmad died on this day in 2004 in Lahore.

She began her professional career in 1970’s with drama serial “Naamdar”.

However, she got popularity from Haseena Moin’s drama serial “Bandish”.

Her famous TV serials, series and long plays include “Half-Plate”, “Ta’abeer”, “Khaleej”, “Parosi”, “Panah”, and “Dasht-e-Tanhai”.

She died of cancer on this day in 1996.
