Shaniera Akram schools Minal Khan on traffic rules after viral video

Former cricketer Wasim Akram’s wife, Shaniera Akram is disappointed with actor Minal Khan’s latest video. In the video, the couple who recently got engaged last month were enjoying the weather. The video was posted by Minal’s Fiance Ahsan Mohsin Ikram in which she was singing while enjoying the ride. Ikram was driving the car and meanwhile recording the video. To which Shaniera Akram said: “Come on guys, you’re famous, and have millions of followers, is it too hard to be a little bit more responsible? Put your seatbelt on and your eyes on the road!!!!!! I’m sorry to say but that won’t be as cute if she’s singing it in the hospital.”

When it comes to driving, there are always some rules to it. Rules include: Drive at a safe speed, Do not cut off other vehicles, Do not stop or park on the expressway, and don’t use mobile phones during your drive to make sure you are safe. These are some key rules for safety. Traffic rules are made up to make sure you stay safe. Knowledge of the traffic signs and rules is necessary. These rules help in maintaining a moderate speed. We observe a number of accidents taking place each day because of irresponsible driving. Just for the sake of fun, we don’t care about our lives. If you drive cautiously, you reach your destination safely. Only when you reach safety, you can take time out for your family, friends and can be of great use to the nation.

Shaniera Akram often comments on social problems and environmental issues. The video received love from fans. Minal Khan along with fiancé Ahsan Mohsin Ikram went out for a drive to celebrate the uplifting weather. On 5 February 2021, Shaniera also shared her feelings about her adopted home Pakistan. “No matter where my feet are, my heart seems to always be in Pakistan,” Shaniera, who has also spoken up about the littering and garbage problem in Karachi.

Back in January, she also talked about plastic waste, urging people to “become part of the solution’. She also said that litter from the city beaches “brought shame on our city, our people, and on our culture.” She wrote on Twitter back in 2020, “Our city is in pain and it’s telling us every day. We are crying out for help but nobody can hear us. This has got to stop,”

Death anniversary of singer Masood Rana observed

The 29th death anniversary of famous playback singer Masood Rana was observed on Friday.

He was born in Mirpur Khas, Sindh.

Masood Rana started his singing career from Radio Pakistan Hyderabad in 1955.

He began singing for films in 1962.

Masood Rana remained one of the top male singers in Urdu and Punjabi films for more than three decades.

He died in Lahore on this day in 1995.

Death anniversary of Naseem Begum being observed today

The 53rd death anniversary of renowned Pakistani singer Naseem Begum is being observed today.

Born in 1936 in Amritsar, Naseem Begum sang hundreds of Punjabi and Urdu songs for films. Her melodious voice won her a huge fan following in the country.

During the 1965 war against India, Naseem Begum, was one of those singers who lent their voices to patriotic songs. her song ”Aye Raah-e-Haq k shaheedo” boosted the morale of the armed forces and the nation.

She passed away on this date in 1971.

Death anniversary of Ashfaq Ahmad being observed today

Twentieth death anniversary of eminent writer, playwright and broadcaster Ashfaq Ahmad is being observed today.

Ashfaq Ahmad wrote dozens of TV dramas and hosted famous programmes of Radio Pakistan “Talqeen Shah” which was broadcast by Radio Pakistan for about 35 years.

His famous PTV plays were “Munchaley ka Soda” “Aik Muhobaat Sao Afsaney” “Tota Kahani” “Hairat Kada” and “Afsaney”.

On television, Ahmad penned the script of several plays that went on to become popular with audiences including, Uchhay Burj Lahore De, Tali Thallay, and Tota Kahani. He also made a feature film called Dhop aur Saya in the 60’s.

Ahmed married Banu Qudsia, who was also a well-known author and literary personality.

He received both the Presidential Pride of Performance award and Sitar-e-Imtiaz.

Ashfaq Ahmad died on this day in 2004 in Lahore.
